What our clients say about us

‘KAT Accounts helped me to sort out my overdue final accounts that were provided by a very incompetent accounting company. Since then I feel very lucky that I can entrust the key part of my business to a very competent and responsive company. I like the fact that I have one single point of contact that will answer all my questions and does the job properly. I know that I am in good hands and I always recommend KAT Accounts to fellow IT contractors; especially those who lose a lot of money using umbrella companies!’

Emil Glownia, Microsoft Certified BI Developer

‘Katrina has been my accountant from 2004. During this time she has provided sales-invoice preparation, book-keeping, payroll, financial accounts, tax returns, tax planning, ensuring my tax return is filed on time and with full use of all available tax reliefs. The fees are reasonable and Katrina is very easy-going and cheerful.’

Bookkeeping

Which bookkeeping system is right for your business?

  1. For a fixed fee you can pass all the business documents to us by post or email and we will write up your books for you!

  2. If your business has very few transactions we can provide free bookkeeping spread sheet templates. These require a limited knowledge of excel but for a lot of small businesses with few transactions this may be sufficient.

  3. You may want to consider using bookkeeping software and we will help you choose a software package to suit your business needs . For example some clients only use the software to prepare their sales invoices, leaving us to take care of the rest of the bookkeeping process, others prefer to prepare their accounts to draft stage calling on us for final reconciliations and financial adjustments. Online software can be an excellent choice in this instance as we can log into the program, make corrections and extract relevant reports for the financial accounts and tax returns. Some online bookkeeping software can feed bank transactions directly into the software, remember the treatment of a particular payee and auto-allocate costs! For businesses with a high number of regular transactions this can save hours of time.
