Which bookkeeping system is right for your business?

For a fixed fee you can pass all the business bank statements, sales and purchase invoices to us and we will write up your books for you!

If your business has very few transactions we can provide free bookkeeping spread sheet templates. These require a limited knowledge of excel but for a lot of small businesses with few transactions this may be sufficient.

You may need to consider bookkeeping software and we will recommend an easy to use bookkeeping software called QuickBooks online. We have been using QuickBooks (desktop version) for many years and more recently QuickBooks online software and so can provide full support and training. Our client’s using QuickBooks online have the versatility of choosing how much of the bookkeeping process they want to take on. For example some clients choose to just prepare their sales invoices on the system, leaving us to take care of the rest of the bookkeeping process, others prefer to prepare their accounts to draft stage calling on us for help with the data entry process so we purely support them with the process. We can log into the program and make corrections or pull off the relevant reports for the financial accounts and tax returns.

QuickBooks online is a reasonably priced bookkeeping system with various pricing options from around £9 to £29 per month and we find the lower price is sufficient for most small businesses. We can offer a fixed fee for training and set up. You will agree that simplicity of use is paramount in choosing a software package.
